both babies are now having to be hand raised, the 2nd baby isnt in great shape. he is quite a bit smaller than the 1st and he looks shriveled around his face. i have been doing hourly feedings all night, im just not sure he is going to make it but i am going to give it my best

Oh man. Don't give up. I'm so sorry. All these horror stories scare me. I'm a 1st time mom. He's 11 days oop but thankfully it's not their 1st and seem to be doing good. Keep us updated! You'll be in my thoughts <3

Why did you have to pull the bigger joey too? What happened?

i was staying with the first baby in the living room because he has a little set of lungs on him when he gets hungry, and i kept hearing the other baby cry, constantly...then he would stop for a few minutes, and then again constantly for 10 or 15 minutes. so i turned the lights on and he was down in the pouch without his mama and he was cold and looked almost shriveled. i warmed him up and fed him, but he was in rough shape for a few hours. he would breathe rapidly then slow shallow breaths. but after a few feedings he seems to be doing well and doesnt have that shriveled appearance.

You have an exhausting few weeks ahead of you! Good luck with them both. If anyone can get you through this, Chris can! And you'll have the moral support of everyone here. Makes me glad I got Sheldon neutered... Best of luck to you and the little ones!
