Is there a place where new members need to introduce themselves?

Just as the subject line asks :) I didn't see an intro board but thought I'd ask anyway. I am a member of a couple webrings for My Little Pony and My Child collecting and new members have to "introduce" themselves via post....is it the same way here? Thank you for the time and patience lol.

Wonderful! A little about me then:
I just signed up for this site today and I am already ecstatic that I did!
I came to love suggies back in 1998 when I adopted a couple rescues. They were already a few years old but true age was never determined and in 2004 they died of old age (so said the vet) just before we moved to CA. I had planned on getting more once I moved away from CA (this July) but about 6 weeks ago I rescued Remi from a friend of a friend who was not taking proper care of him. I could tell he was depressed and when I told his owner what he needed I was laughed at...but in the end the guy gave him to me. I found him a couple buddies (11 and 12 week old neutered boys as well) and they are all living happily together.
I have been active duty Navy for 15 years and all of my babies will be making the journey to the East Coast with me :). I cannot wait until I can play with my suggies without feeling like some sort of secretive criminal (though it's crazy how many other suggie people there are in CA).
Please forgive me in advance for any "silly" questions I may ask in the coming weeks as have been out of the glider loop for 8 years now lol.
