At the oregonfeederinsects.com site I can find only WHOLE dehydrated musca domestica pupae and not powdered as the LGRS calls for. Will they still grind up smoothly in a blender like a Vitamix or Nutribullet? I am assuming they will, but just want to make sure...

My blender is funky so I had to use a mortar and pestle. I found that Duncraft sells the whole dehydrated musca domestica pupae as well but it is about $10 cheaper.

Yep, when I had the whole, I used the Magic Bullet or just the blender if I was lazy. :)

Thank you, BuzzAndJessie - is Duncraft an Internet store? Kyro298, are you saying the Magic Bullet made them smooth in the mix? I have the new NutriBullet as well (yay! 650 watts and awesome blades). I sure would hate to have to use my mortar and pestle which I grind herbs and such with.
