Vets will trim nails for a small fee if you're uncomfy trying again. Last time I cut Luna's nails she jerked her foot away from me and I cut the quick. Just use some flour or corn starch to stop the bleeding, and make sure it doesn't continue to bleed.

Flour is great at stopping bleeds, but if you have time, stock up on a container of quickistop (I forget how it is spelled), which is available at most pet stores in the dog or cat section. We used this at the zoo, and have always had it at home.

I use a nail trimmer in the wheel which works wonders!

Quick Question about Trimmer Track Etiquette:

How long should you keep the trimmer track in the wheel at a time. So far I've been leaving it in 3-4 days then taking it out for 3-4 basically I switch it once a week. Is that ok, they seem fine, their nails of trimmed but they are not non existant and they have a fine time hopping around?
