So i have been putting part of some fleece pj pants i cut up under the wodent wheel to stop some of the noise and prevent it from moving across the cage... yes my boys run so fast they move the wheel across the cage.

anyways i peeked into their pouch to say good morning and they werent there!

They seem to have found a new sleeping area in my cut up pj pants :)

silly gliders.

Just a thought.. make sure that any stitching left on the cut up parts is small and tight so that their nails can't get stuck in it.

You can take a couple of small fleece strips and tie the wodent in place. I've done this with both my wodent and my stealth. You put one strip on the back and one on the base. Works very well for me. Turn the knots though so they are "outside" of the cage.

Pic is adorable!!! I'm glad he's feeling better.

You can also use zip ties to tie the wheels to the side of the cage. Letting the wheels "travel" can cause entrapment if the wheels turn over while the gliders are running inside.

Very cute pictures!

Cute pictures and gliders

Please do remove the pjs from the cage - they look to be flannel rather than fleece, and flannel is very prone to unraveling. These babies do not need any more health issues - especially one that can be easily prevented, such as an injury that can come from loose threads/strings in the cage.

Secure the wheel to the side of the cage with a zip tie, fleece tie or twist tie. There are many dangers from a wheel allowed to move about the cage like that - injured tails, injured fingers, trapped gliders, etc. Another thing that is easy to fix. :)

I use zip ties to attach things to the cage. Except pouches and toys and such. Anything that stays put gets zip tied. i use a fingernail clipper to cut the end off very close.
