Hi everyone, my topic isn't about some strange Thanksgiving day feast. Well I really want to know if it's alright to feed my gliders peanut butter because I heard somewhere that it's harmful!

I wanted to tell you all about nesting cotton for gliders. It's at the petstores in the aisle for small animals. It's a bag of nesting cotton-like substance with perhaps some other soft textile included. I divided it and lined it where my gliders sleep. They like to get under it and sleep in it. I found that they snooze much quieter while being comfy in this nesting material. They sleep like little angels and are not restless anymore. It's about $5 for a bag and I think you should try it!

I tried the bird seed around a stick for birds to give my babies and they had fun picking the seeds off and throwing them down. They didn't eat the nuts/seeds- just simply picked every seed and nut and threw it out. I think it might have been fun for them. I'm not sure.

Not trying to be rude, but I prefer using fleece blankets for my suggies. We know they are safe. We dont know what is in the nesting cotton and what could happen if they ingest it or get it in their eyes.

As far as peanut butter, Ive never heard of anyone feeding it to them and would have to do some research before answering.

It isnt advisable to feed bird seed to suggies. There are so many other treats that are good for them to choose from - yogurt, applesauce, babyfood fruit which can all be used as licky treats and are great bonding tools.

Oh- I just bought it because it was totally cheap/ on sale and they like picking at it and throwing the seeds. They do like cracking open pumpki seeds are eating those though.
Fleece blankets? That sounds very cozy. Mine like scarves. They sleep in scarves and cotton nesting now. Now I'm worried though that it could get in their eyes.....Should I remove it?..

Well, the package says: Big Bag O' Bedding. Made by Fuzzy Buddy. The bedding is all natural and non-toxic and is supposed to encourage normal nesting habits.
