I only wish I could actually DO the tattoo myself! I was offered YEARS ago to apprentice under an artist who thought my work would be good for body art, but at the time, I was very leery of blood exposure etc. In hindsight, I wish I`d gone ahead and just done it. I`d LOVE to have my own parlor. :)

Hey what happened to the picture Mandy did for the tattoo? Did I miss something. Bring it back:)

Maybe the person who requested the drawing asked that it be removed??? I actually don't remember it being posted here, tho. But then again, I forget a lot these days being old and all!

hehe, yeah, sorry - I had tp pull it. The person who asked for me to make the design decided she wasn`t happy with certain elements of the image and wanted me to make several changes. Thing is, she needed the whole thing done for Monday, and with the changes she wanted done - there would have been NO way for me to make them in time. The project has become something of a wash because of it.

Since the person isnt going to purchase the drawing, can you repost it for us to see? Who knows, maybe someone here will fall in love with it!

Hehe, if you would like to see it, I`d be happy to send you a pm with a link. It was based off of her gliders and concept, so I don`t think displaying it when it was a scratch would be very cool. hehe, I`m sure she`d agree.

I AM working on something I CAN post here shortly however. Trying to get it done today. :)

Newest project - will be used as a tattoo design for a member over at Glidercentral. :) This little angels name, is Reece! SOOO cute! Done with pencil crayon on sturdy card. There will be one more in this set, working on it as we speak!

No, the artist probably won`t be able to get it all... however, I used to work with a VERY talented gentleman several year back who could duplicate my designs almost to the letter. It just depends on where she goes I suppose. The nice thing is, whatever artist she ends up seeing can add a small part of themselves to the image as well and she`ll have the originals for framing after the fact. :)

I tried a couple of times to simplify the images for people, keeping their tattoo artists in mind, but I kept getting complaints - It 'wasn`t what they visualized'. So I would revise and revise until finally, it ended up just as detailed and glossy as a regular drawing. THEN they were happy. I just skip that step now! LOL Their artist will be able to get what he needs from the images, I guess. ;)

I can understand that. In my experience, the public generally wants massive detail. (Thank goodness that just happens to be how I naturally paint!) It'd be my guess that the tattoo artist can pick and choose what details to tat, and which to leave out.

It'd be great to get pics of how these actually look when completed!

I agree! I`ve asked the people getting my work for the purpose of tattoo inspiration to send me pictures when they are done. If I get any, I`ll be sure to post them so we can compare! ;)

It was a HUGE project, took me nearly 2 and a half weeks! Truly, the picture doesn`t do it much justice. I was really happy with the way it eventually turned out! ;)

I hope I`m not coming across as though I`m just milking for compliments. All I want, is to share my work with you all. Just wanted to be sure you aren`t getting tired of me posting my stuff! ;)

Holy cow, Mandy! When did the last one with eight suggies appear? It's so adorable!! So many sweet little character-filled faces on one page. I'll just bet that took you two and a half weeks. It was worth it though. This is gonna sound weird but, I'm so proud of you! Keep it up Sweet Lady, and don't ever worry that these folks will get tired of seeing 'em. That ain't gonna happen.
