For some reason people are saying Bourbon is the reason my little neo is alive.

I would like to pubically announce that this is NOT true.

Here's my story.

When Neo started to SM who told me to get him in the collar? Um... Eric did. Go check the archives its there. For some reason people are connecting me to her, and I know it's been a large amount of time since all this happened but I don't appreciate being accepted into some social circles because "bourbon coached me."

When I finally called Bourbon Neo was ALREADY in a collar, and had already seen one vet. Rita told me to call her after being blamed for a gliders death the night before because apparantly going to the vet before going to bourbon is the only way to make a glider live- too bad I didn't call her first.

So this is what bourbon told me:
put prep. h on neo's cloaca - Did absolutely nothing to help Neo's swelling since there was a bigger reason.

Buy him a hammock to sleep with the collar on- too bad he never used the hammock we bought, he prefered fleece blankies on the floor.

feed BML- which didn't last long either. with the collar on it was easeir to feed ensure through a water bottle if i cleaned it properly it wouldn't screw up the bottle.


Give some shotgun method of antibiotics for Sm'ers. I gave my vet the list and some information on all the antibiotics but the vet said there was no way he was doing that. He gave Neo and xray and found the real problem and all it required was baytril.


So... while this may make less popular in some forums I would just like to point out and thank Eric, who actually gave me the collar information and to set the record straight. If I'm accepted into a forum I don't want it to be due to a false association with someone.

That was the night that Eric and I were accused of killing gliders - its a long story so I wont bore anyone with details.

Wasnt all of that also around the time that the railroad endeavor collected a ton of animals from some center that closed or such and then they eventually made their way to Jamie in Colorado after being picked from and replaced by everyone's sicklys and unwanted breeder stock? Or am I making that up?

RAWK! love the glider community more now! How can one even call it a community... when everyone fights and tries to make others look bad? I do what I do because I love the gliders its my passion, if I can help one person, I am then helping a glider.

If I am in battle for names and who did what, then that is just taking that much more from the glider.

HELP PEOPLE HELP THE GLIDERS... If half of these "people" that are going around making up stories spent the same amount of time trying to help a newbe or a glider... there would be so many more gliders in GOOD shape, then the bad shape these "people" pride themselves on.

Get over it, get over yourself and do something good... try the reason you came here in the first place. LEARN, TEACH, and LOVE GLIDERS.

So sick of it.
