thank you so much. I took this today while they were still sleeping (and behaving) LOL. They are 11 weeks OOP today and he is getting closer and closer to getting nuetered. I added some new toys to their tent today and they went CRAZY!!!! They didn't know were to start!

you would think the nails would get snagged but i have 2 afghans my grandmother made for me and they jump all over it. doesnt bother them a bit.

Really? I knit and crochet and was worried that they would get their nails caught in those kinds of things, but I guess if you get a good yarn (maybe one that pulls apart easily should they get stuck) maybe it would be ok? I might try to make them something!

I think it would be fine if its good yarn and not to tight of a stitch. =0) Cricket is adorable!

Thank you, he is so hilarious, jumped up & down on his baby blankie shelf like a trampoline until I about died laughing.. poor baby hung up on everything though when I first got him, his nails was so long, but after I trimmed them he was fine on the crocheted hut...even climbed all over inside it..

I worried about the crochet being too dangerous for them as well..but then decided to try it! he loves his..I am thinking the dishrag cotton may work better & be warmer so when I get it done, for those of you that crochet I will post my results.. I am also thinking of lining one with flannel? hehe might be better yet..

This pic went blurry on me! makes me so agrivated because he was so cute trying to pull his toy mouse in his wheel lol.. he drags this thing everywhere, his monkeys go to bed with him every night! lol if he manages to heft that mouse in his bed I will be amazed but he sure trys hard!! poor lil dude..

I am no expert but I am just wondering if maybe you should cut off that loop of string on the mouse? Could he get caught it in?

He cant get caught in it he just yanks it down every night lol I hang it up & he has a blast trying to get it yanked down.. it gives alot & yet holds its shape well.. if i notice it beginning to fray I will cut it off, I just hate to cut it yet, since 90% of the attraction is trying to get it yanked down & then the victory of the win is so cute to see.. I scan his cage nightly looking over all his stuff for any damages..have yet to find any yet! but im figuring I will eventually..

You really should either cut the ribbon off or remove the toy from the cage - only letting them play with it when you are present. Things can happen so quickly and if you arent there....

I don't know...mine can squeeze under a door. It seems like the loop could go around their necks pretty easily. We're not trying to tell you what to do at all, but unfortunately, there have been tragedies involving seemingly safe items. Just an FYI.

I took it out.. cutting it off would ruin the fun value for him anyways. its not ribbon but if it looks like a threat to everyone i will remove it altogether.. its elastic & yes he plays with it in my view only anyways but will remove altogether, thanks for the concern...& no he hasnt chewed on the elasic..I go over his cage with a fine tooth comb every morning making sure he isnt chewing anything including his monkeys & what not, so far he is being a good suggie..

I cant see the picture cricket, but is it a catnip mouse? I know alot of mouce toys are filled with catnip and its deadly to gliders. As i said i cant see it so it may not be, but just a heads up. :)

the raeson you cant see it is because I took the picture down , but nope, I knew catnip was deadly, so therefore got one with a rattle inside, he liked making it rattle. thanks
