Jerry was named after Little Jerry (the rooster) on Seinfeld
Buttons was harder. My boyfriend and I couldn't think of a name. Then he looked at her and said 'your a cute little button' It just stuck!

Podo (male) and Kodo (female) from the original movie Beastmaster (great movie)

My boyfriend is obsessed with small planes, and he recently purchased a beautiful yellow plane called a Piper Cub.

Thus, our gliders: Piper and Cubby.

Mine: Kirby (boy), Boo (girl), Kirby (boy) and soon to be home Holly (girl)

Bf's: Adalie (girl) and Elliot (boy)

Bf's Aunt: Forrest (boy)

i had thought about replying to this but somehow I think it seems so obvious!

Anyway Gizmo (cuz when I first got him he reminded me of the little Mowgli thing off of the Gremlins movie) is my male & Roo (from Winnie-the-Pooh) is my female but they have several nicknames to like Giz, Gizzy, Peek-a-Roo, Roo Roo

Lucifer is my ex g/f's and she named her cuz lucy was acting like lucifer when she got her, so it stuck

Lunatic my male got the name from when he saw his first female glider he was acting like one

My girlies are Tipsy and Pantalaima. They reminded us so much of the daemons from the trilogy 'His Dark Materials' by Philip Pullman that we named Pan after the main character's daemon, with a female twist to the name!

Chester (was the name he had when I rescued him, he was 6 years old when I got him I just couldn't change it)

Tuff (My husband is a "cowboy" who LOVES bullriding, So he named HIS glider after Tuff Hedeman.)

and Wendy (girl) Staying with the whole Tinkerbell thing..lol

Momma- Usha - I thinks it's hebrew for devil priencess and she is REALLY loud when she crabs

Wow, so many great names! It is fun to read what everyone has named their little gliders :)

Oh, I suppose I should say why we named our gliders those names, like everyone else has been doing...

Pockets was named after one of the lost boys in the movie "Hook"...plus her pouch is like a little pocket, so we thought it fitting :)

For Watson, we wanted some kind of a distinguished, old man name because he just acted accordingly, and Watson was the only name my fiance and I could agree on that fit that description. Plus he is a very curious little glider, so "Watson" seemed to be even more fitting as it is the name of Sherlock Holmes' sidekick. :)

depending on what sex i get when i get mine..if it is a boy it will be either Radar or Klinger....off of MASH..lol...not sure what i will name it if it is a girl...

I have Face mom of minimu his father did not make it. Then I have Nalla Mom of Stella and Dots fathered by Nubs. Next I have Jelly who is prego to the dad Peanut Butter. All are neutered now :)

Devildog male - a name well earned, my first glider a real pitbull biter when I got him he's going on 3 now and he is my cuddle buddy
Sweetpea female, going on 3 now also, devildogs cagemate
Typoon (Ty) 3yr male adopted him last yr and he a whirlwind and hard to catch if he is not ready to go back in the cage
Dolly 4 yr female adopted last yr and had never been handled without gloves until I got her and she is the sweetest little dollbaby

my male is zip and my female is sweetness.... very fitting cause she is so gentle and affectionate... then i have to joeys still in pouch... one male not sure what the other is... and i haven't named them yet

From "The Rescuers" movie, I named mine Penny and Bernard. Now I have Bernard, Webster, and Norbert. I call Webster, Webby and Norbert, Norbie. I love my babies. I bought Webster and Norbert from a girl who named them because "I found out that the males had bald spots and I thought that is dorky so they needed dorky names"... I love those names
