They're tiny, little opossums no bigger than a mouse. So, maybe people use pouches with pet mice too? Anyway, I thought you might be interested. :) IneedaSuggie Joey 22 Posts thats somewhat amusing! its so funny how ignorant people can be. charlee Super Glider FL, USA 211 Posts Hahahahahaha I got the same one: Thank you for your concern. As owner and operator of a small pet shop I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of exotic and domestic animals. There is not any leash that is 100% safe without injury if it is not used properly. Anytime any item is attached to any animal it should be done so with supervision. I have heard many stories down through the years about animals in different restraints and I have to be honest and say there have been more tragic stories from pets not on any restraints than there has been those on restraints. However I will tell you that as a 5 year Breeder of Sugar Gliders I personally do not like the leashes but I do for the sake of my gliders train the babies on a leashes. I do not like hearing stories that the dog ate my glider or the cat caught my glider when it got away while I was trying to bond with it. Or the worst two of all my glider got away from me and drown in the toilet or dish water and the worst yet, my glider jumped from me and landed on a burning candle. All these are stories that have come from my customers. Just for added information my leashes do not restrict the gliding membrane they attach around the neck where a bead slides for closure. This is a leash not a harness Although it is not stated in the listing there are instruction of the package. If you decide that you would like to purchase this pouch set I can substitute the leash for a different FREE gift. Thank you for your comments. Robin
Some photos from our members IneedaSuggie Joey 22 Posts I think she is either aggravated or tired of responding, i sent her a message two days ago and she hasnt responded cubbylove Joey USA 29 Posts Ha! That letter response is priceless. I can't even imagine using a leash on my gliders. They would be so confused. And besides, if a leash can cause injury (which the seller admits), you would think she wouldn't sell them. By the way, if I'd ever put a leash on my opossum, he would have looked at me with one seriously confused face. :) I do occasionally put a leash on my ferrets, but they just wriggle out of it. :)
