Imtboo you should let her calm down for a few days you is scared because all of a sudden everything farmiliar to her is gone. Just give it time with proper tent time, diet, and bonding you two will get closer. As for the barking and naming the barking means they want attention and as for the names they have a forum on here of sugar glider names hope this helps Good Luck!!!

The only way to get her to calm down really is to allow her too. She doesn't know the scents or sounds around her and she is probably scared to death. Give her some time to adjust. Barking is a form of communication. Are you planning on getting her a cagemate? Gliders are colony animals and should at least be in pairs. Who did you get her from and did they give you any info for her? Check the site for diet, bonding and health issues and ask lots of questions. We're here to help.

And please take her to an exotic vet as soon as possible for a Wellness Exam and fecal. We have been hearing of giardia and round worm way to much recently.

She may be barking to call the gliders she use to live with...if she is young and has just been taking from parents..she would be calling for them. Very important..get her to the vet for wellness exam and fecal...and get her a cagemate ASAP.....read everything you can in the posts...let her be for a few days...at night when she comes out..sit by her cage and talk softly to her....when I first got my two..I waited a couple of days...then took them in their sleeping pouch into the bathroom (1/2 bath)...I brought mealies with us and would hand feed them..after a week I turned them out of the pouch and they would sit in the corner and just stare at me..I talked to them and offered mealies..soon after they realized I was trustworthy and always had goodies for them and they would come to me...brought some toys in there...would spend 1/2 hr to an hour with them each night...their daughter Snickers was born a year ago..on Mothers Day OOP.....they now have a 6 x 5 tent with lots and lots of toys..Snickers loves to climb then glide to me..Chip & Dale..run around to toys and me and get their mealies or yogies...bonding takes time...Good luck
