I just got a new pair of gliders yesterday. A newly neutered male and female. Looking her over last night I think she has a joey in the pouch. She has a big lump on one side of her tummy. I am hoping to introduce them as a quad with my other 2 females. But now I may have a 5th on the way and hoping a 5 some will work. I wont introduce them until the baby is older. Does anyone have any experience introducing a trio to two others? I have them separated in cages and was hoping to introduce them in a nonterratorial situation soon...the bathroom or something. And hopefully in the cage that my two females are in when they finally accept each other. But now that I may have a joey wondering if this will take longer then expected. I will probably keep the baby and neuter if its a male.

Welcome to this forum! Glad to have you.

I have no experience with introductions or with babies but someone should come a long who can help you. From what I have read and learned my guess would be to keep them apart in separate rooms till after the joey is out of pouch and maybe 8 weeks old before you ever introduce them. Trying to do it now or when the baby is just out of pouch probably would really stress the mother which would not be good.
