Where does everyone buy their meal worms?My husband suggested a bait shop. Also, do you have to feed them to the suggie while they are alive?

if you dont want to buy live ones you can buy freeze dried meal worms, mine dont like live ones for some reason but they will eat the freeze dried ones. Also for live meal worms you can buy them at Petco or Petsmart. Or online at:

I use to buy mine at walmart but i live in spokane so i dont know if any other walmarts carry them, and petsmart and petco like imyosuggie said...

Thats great! I live pretty close to a petsmart and a wal-mart. I had no idea wal-mart sold meal worms.

Our WalMart does not sell them but I get them from Petco. Lately, I've been getting them from Catman and I don't think you have one of those there. LOL There's also www.grubco.com I always feed live.

Most pet shops have the canned ones, and the live ones.

I get mine off of Ebay. There was a seller on there that I really liked but they have gone out of the mealworm business. The last seller that I bought from I was not impressed... very small ones and many were loose through out the packing material. I find that buying online was a lot cheaper then getting them at Petsmart, which I did originally in TN. I get 1,000 and you keep them in the fridge so they stay alive and in a hibernating state. Never have gotten dried or canned ones, or girl like them too much wiggling.

I have found this lady that sells mealies and I got them last week and there were NO Dead ones she is pretty reasonable and quick to ship too!
