So...i got a sugar glider yesterday. I've been doing a lot of research on how to take care of them and all but there was one issue that stupidly enough i didin't give much consideration.
My glider's cage is the perfect size for her, and theres plenty of space. The problem is that theres plenty of space in between the little bars and she has managed to escape many times in the span of a night. I seriously overestimated her size. I really want nothing but the best for her but I'm like really low on cash and cant afford a new cage right now and to top it all off i can't return it. Any quick fix ideas in the meantime? I'd really appreciate it!!

Maybe you could buy plastic mesh wire from a hardware store and secure it to the cage. It shouldn't be any more than $20 plus the little plastic zip ties should do the trick :)

The plastic mesh mentioned by sunnypanda would work. You can purchase it in rolls at Lowe's or Home Depot. Its usually found in the Lawn & Garden section. If you dont see it, ask for it. When I wanted some to make toys out of, there was none out on the floor - but they had rolls in the back.

I had the same problem. I bought soft screen like you put on a screen door. not he medal kind. I put all around the outside of the cage with zip ties and she hasnt escaped yet. And it was cheap!

Be careful, you dont want anything that can rust from urine. And screen mesh probably will.
