I know that the BML Diet says to add chicken baby food to the recipe (the one I use I dont know about all) but can you feed sugar gliders other baby foods just out of the little jar? Like peas, green beans, chicken, cereal?

yes..the chicken with broth is good for them..as is the turkey with broth, beef with broth..veggies...but alternate it with adult chicken...protein...veggies fresh or frozen..never can..fresh fruit...I use the 50% protein, 25% fruit, 25% veggies...off an on yogurt, cottage cheese with pineapple...gliderade, necturs...they love scrambled eggs with frozen veggie..SUGGIE Omlet!!!!! remember no garlic or onion!!!!!!! but parsley and oregano is fine...I bake a skinless..boneless chicken breast in foil with them and honey...they love it!

Why do you want to feed them babyfood? You have to really read labels to make certain there is no garlic or preservatives, which rules out most babyfoods. They really need food to chew for their dental health and hygiene.

Babyfood is alright in emergency situations where you have no refrigeration.(for example, when power goes out, traveling, etc) They so enjoy holding their food in their little hands and eating... Please dont deny them that pleasure.

I was just thinking about it since the BML recipe has it in it. I was wondering really how safe that was and if thats the only kind they can have.

last night one of my girls dishes was mango baby food...with pears and apple chunks mixed in... all gone this morning...

the other day i had a ?blueberry/apple? mix baby food with apple chunks mixed in...that too was gone...

I had turkey with gravy and some green beans (not baby food) mixed in with it...right down the hatch...

Im thinking about mixing some tasty fruit baby food in with their egg for a baby food egg omelet...have not tried it yet...

i try to mix baby food with real chunks of food when i serve it..some nights it is not been mixed with anything...nothing looked good to mix with it!! ha ha!!

I feed my kids baby food along with boiled chicken and mixed fruit. They really do enjoy the baby food but I also believe it's healthy to have the real deal also. I believe in that age old theory, everything in moderation... it goes for gliders too.
