I thought I let you all know my oldest doughter got put in the Hospital today. I am up at the hospital with her right now. But she has glands that are swollen and they don't know why they are swelling up. They are doing tests to see if they can find out what is going on with her. But I am able to get on there enternet here so I will be about to chat while I am up here dureing the day and dureing the night too. I will keep you all up dated how she is doing. But it has been a realy ruff day for both of us. I know when I go home for night I am going to pass out. But I am going to come back up here tomorrow after I get my other 2 kids to school. Well I am going to get off here and visit befor she go's to bed for the night.

Aw! So sorry to hear that. :( I hope she gets well soon! Sending thoughts and prayers for your (oldest) little one. How old is she?

Tink - Im so sorry. Its seems like there are several of us who have loved ones that are sick or injured.

Well she is 13 and scared big time. She started to cry when i left but I have to send my other kids to school in the morning so i had to come home. man I wish I didn't have to leave her. I feel so helpless becouse I can't help her my self and that I had to leave her up there. On the way home my other child that is 11 started to cry becouse she didn't want to leave her sister up there. She has never been in a hospital befor so she is realy scared right now. I just don't know what to do and my baby is up there. Well I hate to go but I got to feed the gliders.

Ohhh - poor sweet thing! I hope that they figure it all out soon, and she'll be able to come home. It must be so frightening for both you and your daughters. Please keep us updated. (((HUGS)))

Tink any news today on what they think is going on with her?

Well they did the biopsy on her glands and we won't get the resalts tell monday or wensday. She hurting pretty good from surgery so they have her on tynal with codein for the pain. But rather then that she is doing a little bit better. But the doc did tell me the biopsy will tell us what is going on and why she swelled up like she did. When I left tonight she was falling a sleep so I tucked in and tolded her I will see her in the morning. But the surgery went realy good though. But still swelled up though. I will keep you guys enform when I get the blood tests back and the biopsy resalts back. i am going back up there tomorrow again. I am going to head to bed soon becouse I been going since 6:44am. I will be staying up there tomorrow night if she is still there. They are going to release her this weekend sometime.

Tink, well wishes and prayers for you and your daughter. You need to take care of yourself too, you won't be any good to anyone if you don't eat and get your rest!

Well she is home and sleeping. They released her at about 9 tonight. The nurses didn't want to see her go but the doc said she could reast better here. So now we are waiting for the biopsy to come back. TB test was good so she don't have that. Whare she had surgery is hurting but she is on some good stuff for that though. But I thought I let you all know she home ans we should find out about the biopsy on wednesday. That will tell us why all of her glands are swollen. I will keep you up dated still on her.

Tink any more word on what's going on. I have really prayed since our talk in chat the other night. My heart is with. Please let us know if we can do anything to help. You are facing alot right now so don't go it alone. You have many friends here and I know things will work out for your little girl.

Well I don't have good news. She might have cancer. I will now for sure tomorrow when the doc calls. They sent every thing to Denver Colorado to the childerens hospital to test it. But here on her biopsy came back lymphoma cancer so we waiting for them in Denver to comfurm it. I am hopeing to know tomorrow if my 13 year old has cancer. I been wish this is all a night mare and I would be wakeing up soon but it is not happening that way for me. I just want to cry all the time but I have to be stroug for her. but I thought I let you all know what is going on. I will let you all know what the doc says when he calls. Keep her in your prays becouse she needs it right now.

Oh Tink - I'm sooo sorry! I can't even imagine what you're feeling right now.
Let's just hope that the Denver tests do NOT confirm lymphoma. But if they do, we will all be here for you for what it's worth.

Well the Doc called today and confirmed it is lymphoma. We are going to Denver on sunday and will be there for 6 days for her starting treatment of cemo. They will check her bone maro to see how much it spread in her body. The cemo part will start on Wednesday. I will have my laptop with me while she is there. So I will be able to keep you all up dated on her and her treatments too. She knows about it and all she is worry about is lossing her hair. So all she ask's for right now is a Hanna Montana bandana. Well i better go. But I will keep up all updated on her and how she is doing.

I know there are no words I can say that will make this nightmare go away. I remember chatting with you about this just last week! I was hoping if it had to be anything, that it would be something like I had - hyperthyroidism... anything but this. I'm so sorry. Like Raven says, we will be here for you and remember you aren't alone.

It hasn't hit her yet that she has cancer but I thinking when she starts treatment it will hit her and hit her hard. So you want to send something to her just message me to let me know.

Tink - I am so sorry to hear this. As hard as it may be right now, try to keep as upbeat and positive as you can. Never, ever lose hope.

There are cancer survivors that frequent this site. Myself being one of them. Hearing the word "cancer" brings chills to everyone. But it isnt the death sentence it used to be.

Fight it with everything you've got and stay positive. And remember prayer is powerful.

And Rita is absolutely right. There is a man at my church who has pancreatic cancer. They were 100% sure that he would die. He comes to every service and is doing wonderfully! His last scan came back CANCER FREE!

Reassure her (and yourself, of course) that prayers and a positive attitude will go a long way to a quick recovery!

I don't know if they are going to put her in the hospital yet when we get there. I will know what the Doc says when we see him at his office though. But if so it will the Denver's Childerens hospital if they do put her in.

I found out today that the treatment will in a building by the Doctors office so she won't be put in the hospital there at all. So everyday after her treament she will be able to go back whare we are going to be stay at. Just to make her more comforable with the treatment.
