Well Avis is doing really good. Next week she will be getting her Toy Yorkie but she don't know it. She thinks she will be getting it in 2 weeks lol. Then next week she being doing a shopping spree at Pet-Co in Casper here in Wyoming. She even named her Toy Yorkie Hannah and Hannah is going to be 8 weeks old on Saturday. When I get some pictures of Hannah and Avis together I will post it so you all can see it. But we are home for a month. On the 18th we go back to Denver for her treatment. She been enjoying the weather and trying to be a regular teenager. It is getting alot easer for us. Soon we will only be going to Denver every 3 to 4 months and doing her treatment here. But rather then all that she is doing realy good and really excited to get Hannah home so she can spoil her and to play with her. I am so excited for Avis to get this puppy. Well I better get going but I will post pictures when I get them k.

Well She got the puppy. Yep Hannah is home. She is so cute. Avis and Hannah are buddy's already. Avis had no idea that she was getting her. I told her that hannah wasn't comeing home for 2 weeks. Opps mom is bad but the look on her face was great. Here is a picture of them.

Ohh goodness... I don't know where i was for all this.. guess i can't get my butt out of the glider postings...

We are all here sending prayers to your BEAUTIFUL little girl and her ADORABLE puppy Hannah!! My Uncle had the same cancer she has when he was in his younger 20's (i think, not absolutly sure of age)and he went through all this and made it through with a great sense of humor! We are all praying for ya'll here in Florida...

I just spent the last hour reading through all these posts and praying the next update didnt say cancer... But looks to me like she is a fighter! She made me cry like a little girl, but she always has a beautiful smile that turned my sad tears into happy ones!

If you need anything PM me and let me know! I am sure we can find something CUTE to send her... Did she do her shopping spree for Hannah yet? She sure is a Trooper! Keep us updated!

Oh my goodness! You are so strong Avis. And your mother! I just read this and am sending prayers your way. Remember God is with you and waching over you. im glad you like your yorkie. You deserve it. You are so strong and brave you are a beautiful girl and a brave one. I am so sorry you had to go through this. May God be with you.

Evelyn, I think of you and Avis often. Its so nice to hear she got her puppy and to see that beautiful smile on her face.

Well Avis is doing good but they put her back on steroids again. She has to take that for 7 days then off for 7 days then back on them. She will be doing chemo every week again. So this round is going to really rough on her. They said she might end up in the hospital again. Avis's little Hannah is doing really good and getting spoiled by Avis lol. But I thought I give you all an up date on Avis. Sorry I haven't been on but been really busy with Avis's blood counts and her chemo she been getting here. Rita, Avis wanted me to tell you she said thank you for the gift you sent. She really liked the shirts you sent her. That really made her day when she got that. Well I got to run.

Someone wrote a poem about Avis and I thought is was so cute. So I thought I share it with you guys.


Avis is a girl so neat.
She's on a quest, cancer to beat.
Through ups and downs, she is so brave.
Let's all stand up and give her a wave.

To a foundation she gave a wish,
What did she get? Well, not a fish!
A dog so dear, a dog so sweet.
Named Hannah she is, and can't be beat.

Now Avis of needles, she is quite sick.
To ban them all would be her pick.
As President she'd end them once and for all

Oh man! I am soooo sorry! I really hope this will get better for you guys!!!

Well every thing was going good but today I had to take her to Dr. office for pain in her knee's. We did x-rays on both knee's and everything turned out good but they are thinking of putting her in a wheel chair for a couple days or for a couple weeks. I will find out this after if she go's in a wheel chair. Nothing is helping with the pain at all. So Avis is not haveing a good day at all. We are pose to go to Denver on Thurday but that depends on her CBC tomorrow. I will keep you all updated on how she is doing but got to go for now.
