I tend to agree with Valkyriemome. I spoke with at least 7 different people in length who own Gliders before I bought mine, in attempt to get the most information and most correct information I could.
I got a lot of really helpful suggestions and guidance. And for the most part, they all agreed on things like cage size, toys, how to find an appropriate breeder nearby who I could trust, bonding and handling... etc. But do you know, almost every single one of them had their own completely different theories on what was the "best diet"?

Almost every breeder feeds something different, even if slightly different, and they all will swear up and down that its the best diet out there.
Seriously, the only thing that I could gather from talking to everyone is that you need a balanced diet of ABOUT 50% protein, 25% vegetables and 25% fruit. Most people keep a staple food in the cage at all times. They need fresh water as often as needed (Mine need a bottle clean and refill every other day). You need to maintain a calcium/phosphorus ratio of 2:1 and all diets need to provide variety for the sake of mental stimulation for your glider.
Do the research, find out what sounds healthiest and best for your babies, and stick to that. I have yet to find any reliable source that says they have perfected the glider diet. So it's really just a matter of what you believe is right for your animals.
