How have you dealt with telling your gliders apart? So far I've relied on the color of their belly fur. Tristan's is cream-colored, while Stormy's is an ashy-gray. Anything unique about your glider that you have noticed?

i find the shape of there ears slightly diff. if all eles fails paint ones nails with non toxic nail polish! i have to do that with the babys so i know who got fed and who didnt.

The dark "V" shape on the top of their heads is different shapes on some of mine and is a dead giveaway for at least two of them. I also have some that have little white "dots" on the top of their noses. I used to only have two that had that (a dad and son) but now I have those two and two more offspring from dad so one of those has it now also. Really though, when I just look them square in the face, I think they all look different.

when u get to know them they do look diffent, little differences that u can tell them apart. if ur not use to them they are hard to tell apart. :) Jasper had a square fat head. lol gypsy has a long skinny head.

Skittles has a narrower face, and of course Oreo is my fatboy. It's getting a little harder as he slims down but I can still tell if I really look at them. It's at a glance that they confuse me.

Pogos face is shorter and Mini's is longer... also, mini's belly is white and pogo's is gray.. but all i really got to do is stick my hand in the pouch and the one that starts kissing me to death is pogo.

Cookies and Cream are twins, but Cookie is more adventurous and cream is more cuddley.

I know that when I open the cage Squeak is the only one that jumps right on my face every time! So i know it is her other than that I have no idea most of the time they look the same.

My girls strip on their face are a lil bit different and that how tell them apart

With mine the whits spots on the ears are different. One is lower and the other its higher on the ears. Other than that I have a very hard time. LOL they look alike. I was supposed to get sisters form different litters but the breeder accidently gave me mom and daughter......he had a hard time tellling them apart too.. LOL

I'm lucky. Sampson is about twice the size of Neala and has a really stubby nose, so I can always tell them apart

I can easily tell fourteen of my sixteen gliders apart! This amazes people when they come over to visit, but it's the truth. I have a hard time telling Molly's two daughters, Lula and Amelia, apart, but that's all. These two girls look and act SOOOOO much alike, it's pretty much impossible for me to tell.

I just got mine, so I haven't bonded yet. But dad is easy cuz he's the only baldy. Mom is the only other big one. The babies can't climb around yet.. and they're both girls so I have no idea... yet. =] Hopefully I'll be better able to tell em apart when we're bonded and the babies actually move around.

Personality is what I usually rely on. Each one is very different. I've got one brother/sister who are tough to tell as they look and act a lot alike.

Each of my girls seem to have something unique about their face or tails. Vixie's tail barely has a dark end but she has alot of darkness around her snout. Moe Moe has very dark stripes and has thick black stripes from her eyes to her ears. Mindy has very light stripes between her eyes and her ears. Peanut is stalkier and has the typical glider facial look to her. All around average face markings I should say. They also each have a unique facial structure. but really the more you know them the easier it is to tell apart. I told my boyfriend about the different markings on the faces and he can even tell them apart if I ask him too. xD I've made him practice. haha

Sidney is older so obviously bigger than Emma, but Emma is also a darker color. Plus Sidney is way more adventurous, and Sidney also has the cutest buck teeth, while Emma doesn't. Personality definantly plays a role with my 2, even though they are different sizes!

i used to be able to tell because nibbler was fat and kadi was not,now they are both fat so its really hard but nibbler has a little spot on behind her eye where hair is thin and if im not able to see that for some reason kadi is a meanie and will crab and bite you everytime so if i dont get attacked its nibbler lol

Gizmo is the only male with boobs, Roo has a v-shaped piece missing out of her right ear, Mr Jingles has a short tail and Izzy is the smaller of the females.

awww lol i have a bro an sis pair that are still really young we learned that the V on teir heads were diff as well as the stripe down the backs one is thinner than the other@ the stripe i mean!

thehyland- I looked at ur three gliders, and could see differenc ein all of them. It takes time. I couldnt tell mine apart at first...i thought...how in world am i ever gonna be able to tell them apart from one another...but eventually u will...it just happens. Personalitys are different, the v, on there heads are different, their ears are different, face shape, and tail color are different. At a quick glance i will sometimes get them confused...but then i see who is who after i look for another min or so...and fdor those of u with more than 4 or 5.....wow...i alwways wondered thsat...how in the heck can u tell all those gliders apart from each other...i dont think i could do thart.....it just seems to hard. I have two so i can use those subtle differences...with more than that, gosh.....

I have 2 cages of 2. Charlie is the biggest one in the one cage and Buster is the biggest one in the other cage. Buster is also the first one to the food and Charlie is the first one down my husbands shirt personality has a lot to do with it@.

Of my three, Shikoni is a dark almost charcoal-grey with large eye-rings. Washi is very light taupe-colored; and he has a cream-colored face with only the black stripe down his forehead and light brown rings round his eyes. His brother Kioko is medium grey, and he's huge. The first picture is Kioko on the left, and Washi. The second picture is Shikoni eating a cricket; you can see how much darker he is. They also move differently; Kioko almost scuttles while Shikoni hops, and Washi's gait is somewhere in between.

I am very lucky with mine. For some reason I was always able to tell them apart. Goose is a little lighter grey and has a wider stripe and a wider head. Maverick is darker with smaller stripe and a more pointy head.

I can also tell them apart by how they act. Goose is more outgoing and Maverick more shy.

My older ones are easy, Meena is always the first one out of the pouch, dixie is my biter and Traveller is the shy one. The teins look exactly alike. gota rely on girl/boy parts for now lol

I have one WFB with a big bald spot on his head he's easy to spot, the other two are a little hard when they are running around. BB has a little bald spot and Cody has none plus Cody is a bit chubby. The first couple of days they were here I had the hardest time, now it's a lot easier

Rocky's black stripe on his head is a little whiter than Gizmo's :)

The only way i can tell Sophi apart from KiKu is that one has more white space under her ear and the other the color comes all the way around and cuts off the white
