Well My Hubby and I went just last night and got all the material we need to build a 7' X 4' X 3' cage and spent $ 101.00 on it @ lowes. That is going to be our project this weekend between him going DEER hunting and my yougest is home on leave...so I hope we can complete it ;-) I will send pictures as i can...Now all I need is to get them all together...wish me luck..I think your cage is great and all my babies Thank you in advance for the idea and web site for this cage

okay....wait...so first of all what the hell kinda name is sippycup....i mean...not to be rude or anything, and you see all types of names...but sippycup...huh? i mean wtf?!?1 and second of all....grey fox, how tall is ur cage, it looks pretty big, my bf and i were fighting over what we thought the dimensions of it were...lol..
And finally....since all knowing and all wise sippycup says ur cage is to small...then you all better call animal control on me guys, cuz I got 2 gliders, and my cage looks a little smaller than that one....I mean it fit standard regulations and all, but apprenently reg. have been changed, according to sippycups comments...lol...
What some people fail to understand is that if we could get a bigger cage, we would. Some of us cant afford it, and some of us just domt have the room. I would love to allow my boys to have free roam of my apartment, but its just to dangerous. ANd I couldnt possibly fit a cage to much bigger than the one I have in my apartment now. But that doesnt mean i neglect them, or dont care about them. They arent unhappy by any means..They could have a glider house as far as i'm concerned, and still not be happy b/c they arent with owners who love them like we do...does that make sence to anyone? I'm half asleep...lol

are the gaps in the door-to-frame area small enough for this to be joey-safe?

And just to respond to someone who asked if the spacing was close enough for babies to get through. No, there are no spaces at all for them to sneak through, as long as you build everything according to specs. There was a small mistake i made and had to accomidate another mesh piece to fix it lol. But no, besides my one mistake, there are no places for them to sneak past :)
