I just wanted to share with you guys how amazing peanut did today. I did a little education presentation with 6 exotic animals for an after school program for young kids. Peanut was my sugar glider model and she was just darling! She was completely calm and friendly. All of the kids got to pet her. They also got to see her patagia (membrane between hand and foot) and even her pouch! She didn't nip or bite not even once!! I was just so proud of her. Although she did poop a tiny bit, haha .
She's so good in crowds and I'm so proud of my little girl. Any of my other girls would have been running down my shirt or trying to jump somewhere. Peanut's calm disposition really makes her the perfect glider for educational programs. So everyone can actually see a sugar glider up close and learn more about them.

That's soo good! It's so fun to socialize them and tell other people about them, haha. I feel like I can never talk fast enough to get all the info out of my mouth that people should know about sugar gliders! Hahaha.

What other kinds of pets were there? I'm interested!

I showed a hedgehog, sugarglider, skunk, leopard gecko, bearded dragon, and a ball python :D
