The two gliders I just got a few days ago are pooping in their bed , what should I do to prevent this? Thanks for the help!

Nothing. It is completely normal. I think. (see post below)

I'll be honest..none of mine do it so I didn't think it was normal. I wouldn't even know how to prevent it.

Maybe I spoke too soon, because mine don't either, but I was just thinking they do it everywhere else. But I was also thinking you can't exactly teach them to do it anywhere else either.

They remind me of cats...they like to groom themselves and be clean. Seems like they wouldn't want their pouches to be dirty. I guess I never gave it a ton of thought! Anyone else have this issue?

I got my two gliders on Friday and they were going in there pouch also. I was worried about it, but over the last day they have gotten better about it. I'm thinking that they were scared and didn't want to come out. They are 3 years old.

Yeah, that would make sense. They're freaked out about the new situation and too scared to come out of the pouch. So they're going to the bathroom in the pouch. Hopefully the behavior will cease as soon as they are settled into their new routine.

Give them a few days. My (not-so) new boys did this too, but just for a short time. Now if I could teach them not to eat in bed ...

I think it is "normal" till they get adjusted. Mine did it too at first. Not anymore.
