I have to agree..it's time to move on. Please make sure this vet gives you the information you need in case you have an emergency again. I can't stress that enough.
No one is calling her a bad person. What we trying to get across to OTHER glider owners that in situations like this there ARE things that can and should be done.
By saying what could have been done MAY save another glider's life.
Oh, I'm not saying anyone is.... that's just how I would feel if I was the one making this thread.... I know everyone here is just trying to do the right thing and make sure everyone just does whats best for there gliders.
PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES. my god. calm down ppl. accidents happen apparently you dont know how *ING hard it is to find a vet at 230am and ur worried and scared already i live a hour n half from a exotic vet didnt know that till yesterday i dindt know how to find a exotic vet. like i said before my comp freezes up when i go to certain websites. called a virus...... i tried to find a emergency vet didnt happen. people learn from their mistakes. and i did learn from mine. i talked to the person i got her from and she came out and told me that she has always itched n bit at her self. kind of to late, would of be easier and nice if i known this from the beginning. so like i asked before just lay off me. just like essika said no one is innocent we all have made mistakes we regret and we all learned from them.
Sorry for your loss. Tisha yes, I did they still needed to see the vet. The end of the tail could have been infected. But I guess its too late. Everybody needs to have a Exotic vet on hand. Know the hours, rates, phone number and how to get there.
