Hi! Welcome!

Some gliders do chew more than others, though I'd have to say that at least from what it sounds like, this is extreme. What are you feeding them? Have they had a vet check recently?

Usually when animals chew to extremes they're either bored or have anxiety issues; occasionally there's a health issue, like a mineral deficiency in the diet. Change up the toys in their cage, so they have something new to explore. A vet visit would help you pinpoint the cause.

It is normal that they would chew wooden sticks or pretty much anything wooden. Remember they are still wild animals and in the wild, they chew thru tree limbs to get to the sap. That part of it could just be natural instinct.

What was the tunnel made of?

The first thing I would do is take them to the vet for a wellness exam and fecal float and smear. Rule out any medical issues.

Then add more toys and items to stimulate them while they are in their cage. Change them out every couple of days.

And we need to know exactly what you are feeding them to see if their die is deficient.

They are chewing the wooden sticks...the tunnel is made out of fabric...I took it out....I have a lil hanging pouch thing they don't chew on it maybe they just wanted that out lol....they have sugar glider food...we feed different fruit and veggies...and like turkey for protein...since I took that tunnel out they only chew on the wooden things which from everyone I see is normal....
