That would be a great idea to talk to the people you know and let them know. Unfortunetly I got 2 of mine from a pet store. I didn't know at the time, but now I do. Their living conditions were horrible. First of all they were on a bird food diet. Secondly since not a lot of people know anything about them and they are exotic everyone who walks into the petstore is standing around the cage poking at them (Not literally, but I bet that is how it feels to the suggie). Of course the pet store will let anyone who walks in there hold for the may be potential customers. Fortunetly the girls we got were healthy they were pretty young and had not been there long at all. Bad thing though is they sale fast. They misinformed us and I am sure they had misinformed every other person that bought one.
