I finally got pictures uploaded of our suggies. We got them in September off of Craigslist. They were named by the previous owner's kids Pogo (cuz she jumps around a lot) and Crabby (cuz she crabs a lot) but as it turns out Crabby and Pogo are the same suggie.




They came in a 15x11x32 cage. We have searched on Craigslist ever since trying to get a bigger cage but never found exactly what we wanted. Finally this past weekend we went to a bird expo and got to test out the stability of a lot of differnt cages. I was glad I hadn't ordered a cage online because we found it to be too unstable and hard to get the tray out. I found a cage and bought it on the spot.


Its so difficult to tell them apart from looks. We really haven't settled on names yet. Been calling the sweet one Sweetpea and the crabby one B*tchy.. Don't really want to name her that.. just can't figure out what else to call her cuz she bites whenever she can.

I love your cage! I have a really hard time telling mine apart. Well the girls anyway. They're personalities are the only indicator, I have to wait and see what they do before I know which one's which.

On the topic of you calling it B*tchy. I rescued a cat and it stunk really really bad. Plus she was really gassy until she got used to her new diet. So my husband kept calling her Stinky. I yelled at him every time he called her that because I didn't want that to be her name. Well that's what it ended up being because she wouldn't respond to anything else. Haha. So careful.. it may be the only name she knows.

I can only tell the difference in my gliders if I look them directly into the face and study their facial features, I think all gliders have those subtle differences in the face.. and of course the personalities are going to be different with every glider. lol. ^^'

The cage looks very nice. Glad to hear they are with you if the previous owner didn't even know their personalities. Nice work.

Here's updated pictures of the cage. We added a lot more stuff than you see here. I've been making all the no sew fleece stuff. I just bought left over fleece so it doesn't all match. Just lots of bright colors.

awe, thier cute. and like the cage.im looking for one. found a 5 level one here on the net for $100. thinkin about gettin it. but my lona has a vet appointment in the city this weekened so im gonna go to petsmart and a few other pet stores and see if i can find a better one

We got the cage from a bird show. Its a HQ cage model 904S. I haven't found it online in the US yet. I did a search and found it in Austraila for $253 we got it for $139. The instructions for putting it together were horrible. but we got it together in less than an hour.
