i mad him some eggs and he like took a lil bite off the pice of egg and threw it then got another pice and keep doin the same ting.

The other day I gave George a mealworm. He bit of it's head, then got an ichy nose or something and shook his head really hard. Mealworm guts went flying. They he did it again. By the time he went to take another bite there were no more guts in the mealie.. just skin. He looked at it like what the h*ll?! Then dropped it and looked at me for another one. =] I love their silly antics!

me too. as a treat. i dipped a mealie in honey for mine once.she lickedall the honey off then saw the mealworm, she stared at it for a sec then snatched it up, and she bit the middle out of it, she saw the jar of honey, dropped the mealie then look back down at it like "did i really justt throw my mealie down?" "can i have another please? i mean i said plz" she waited for me to get it and if i didnt shed lean forward, like she was rocking forward and backward waiting for one

Really cute stories! The same thing happens with mine, but when they drop the food, they try to reach for it below with their little arms! It's SO CUTE!

yeh I gotta be careful b/c mine will try to reach for it too...and they can actually get it b/c of how the bottom of the cage is...which is where the problem can present itself....lol...if theres ANY food at all from the nite before on the bottom they can eat it still, and as we all kno...its no longer any good, nor is it safe to eat...but they dont care...i've heard some pretty wicked horror storys of suggies getting very ill that way...so please please please BE CAREFUL!!!! One way to avoid it, is to wipe out the bottom tray each morning when you take their food bowls out...it can be a pain, but it can save there life. AND CUTE STORYS EVeRYONE! I was laughing so so hard...thanks for sharing...i needed something to brighten my mood today!!!

This is very true, luckily, my gliders can not reach the spoiled food on the bottom of the cage. I wouldn't use newspaper on the bottom if they could. Plenty of horror stories about that, also. Yeah.. I just change the newspaper when I notice food starting to accumulate on the bottom. lol.
