Ive had my babies for a while now. And we have never had problems with them fighting. For the past week, when ever we feed them, we feed them at the same time every night, our groucho is crabbing and steeling Jasmines food. He will tackel her from across the cage for an apple, even if he has his own. We have started to take him out at meal time so she can eat something. And it seems to work out. But i was wondering why this is happening?? Does anyone know??? Thank you all in advance :)

Food aggression is a form of dominance. He is trying to intimadate her and show her who is boss. Watch them carefully making certain he doesnt hurt her.

It's good to take him out while she eats. In fact, I suggest you allow her to eat first so she gets her fill. Then there will be no need for him to attack her. Especially if this is the only time he is showing aggression.

Another thing is, she could be coming into heat. Males can get very testy when it comes time to mate. Is he neutered? If not, you may want to consider neutering him.

Do they each have their own dish, or do they share a dish?

If you only have one, I'd suggest getting an extra so they can each eat alone. Also, it would help to put each in a glider kitchen, so that it would be harder for him to try and run back and forth trying to take her food.
