So my search for a friend for Luna has been kicked into full gear, rather than this nonchalant business I've been doing. After the scare with her last week, it made me realize how very important this is. And my Mom realized too, so she's going to help me since I'm still having trouble finding employment.

Also trying to find a closer vet, she didn't need to be taken when I first got her because of the previous owner. I know of a vet that I could take her to, but it's several hours away. I've written down all the vets in my area and plan on calling tomorrow, I e-mailed the ones that had e-mail- already tonight.

If anyone knows of vets in my area that handle gliders, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm in Plant City, Florida.

Have you went to the resources tab up top and clicked on vets? There may be some that other members have listed in your area.

Skip Ocala, there is a handfull in Tampa. Call LIsa at suncoast I bet she could help you. Look at the resourses page on this site. Look under vets. St. Cloud and Kissimmee and even Orlando is even closer to you then Ocala.

Thank you so much Candy. I've found a vet in Plant City, that can do a wellness exam but that's about all because their experience is pretty limited.
