My dad has 2 males, 1 female, and 1 baby that all live together. He is really wanting to get rid of one of his males. I was just wondering, since he is so bent of doing this, what are the chances of the male being ok by himself after living with the otherd for a little while? I really want to take him in with me, but I dont want to put the little guy in a bad situation.

You should get him a friend soon. They are social animals and can become depressed if alone and used to having others around. If you check back through the posts, you will find that quite a few ask about this and the answer is always have a freind so they have company always and you should consider this quickly as there is a quarantine time ( about 30 days )before putting them together. I know that there are plenty of others on the site that can be more detailed but if you take him, you should get him a friend. And if you get a female and do not want any babies, have him neutered by a vet that specializes in exotic pets.
