I have been searching for boo a new BFF.. There is a person in reno who wants to rehome her gliders all four of them and will not seperate them. She has been looking for a long time. Before I go any further I thought I would ask you all. Will this be good for BOO. I am not sure how a established bonded colony would accept her. I know with one it can be difficult and I know when I introduced Peeka to Boo I was very fortunate that it was love at first sight. I am prepared for the new intro to not be as easy. I want what will be best for Boo first. However, I feel for these little guys and she has been trying to rehome for quite a while now. Should I try or is this another situation I should be avoiding? Any and all input will be greatly appreciated..

What are the ages and genders of the four gliders? If there are two bonded pairs, I think that the females could be very aggressive toward Boo. If there are four males, of course, that won't work either. If there are one male and three females, or four females, then you'll have a good chance of getting Boo into the colony. Now this is just my opinion, as I've only got little boys; there may be other answers from experience.

Snusie is correct.

If you take them, be prepared to have two cages in case it doesnt work out.

They are 2 1/2 years old. there are three males and a one female. Two of the males are nuetured and one is not. I was told that Females should out number the males so this can't be good for the female out of the group...Could I create a all male colony and an all female colony? As cute and precious the joeys are I don't want to breed. My concern then would also be to the other gliders if they are bonded. I only see it working if I can seperate males and females. But if it will be hard on the 4 of them I don't want to do that either.

They would also be coming with their cages and all their belongings.

Keep in mind that since one male is intact - you may get a bonus - joeys in pouch. If you are not ready to deal with breeding it might be a good idea to pass on these and get a single glider about Boo's size and age to be her BFF.
