I recently got a sugar glider from a friend of mine and shes getting pretty old. She's been alone for 4-5 years. When we got her she wasn't very friendly never very happy. I contacted a breeder in the area and got another one of the same sex. When we first put them together they argued checked each other out than ignored each other by the end of the night they were sleeping together. and arguing only from time to time. Now they're best friends and we can hold them both.

They're going to fight. They're going to argue. But in the end they'll be fine. i was told sometimes they can fight and argue for up to a week just keep to sleep sacks in the vage until you know they're kosher with each other.

I would probably get them neutered. If they grow up together there's a chance they won't fight and be territorial but you never know. Plus its nice to minimize their smell through neutering. I don't think there is a bad side to getting it done.

Definitely get them neutered. I had a lone male, and last year I got him companions. two brothers. They had not been neutered. The first day I had them, off to the vet they went for wellness checks and the old snip. Since we had the thirty-day quarantine to go through, that gave them a chance to heal and to get rid of all the male hormones -- not to mention the smell. The only thing stinkier than an intact male would be two intact males! Now I have three neutered boys living together, thick as thieves and happy as can be.

For introductions, read this: http://www.sugarglider.com/gliderpedia/index.asp?Introductions Good luck!

I just want to throw caution out there because although neutering can help with male aggression, there's nothing to say for sure multiple males will get along...or any sexes for that matter. You will definitely notice more of an odor if they are fighting for their territory so when they meet, you may notice more.

I would advise you to still observe the thirty-day quarantine. Even though they're coming from the same breeder, there's a chance that the new gliders may have been exposed to a disease. Also, it gives them a chance to settle in, get to feeling secure; and to start developing a bond with you, without the stress of introductions.
