The only nestbox I have ever seen are the ones used for birds that are wooden. Are these what yall use? I heard wood soaks up the urine so does anyone know of any plastic nestboxes?? (Homemade or not) I want to get a nestbox for Calvin and Hobbes because its getting cold in my apartment and I heard pouches dont keep in the heat as well.

it hangs in the cage than i added fluff bedding to the inside and it keeps they cozy! they also will move the fluff to their lower pouch an stuff that to keep warm :) they are pretty smart but i like that link check it out!

I love the index box nestbox! I'm definitely going to try that when my girls are introduced and put in the same cage.

If I remember correctly, Lisa from SunCoast recommends the black plastic index card box with a hole drilled into the top and one side. that way you can open the top to check on mom and 'joey' with minimal disturbance.

I have 17 gliders and none of them pee in their nest, ever. But I have read that some do.

Wow that index card box is a great idea! Maybe they wont pee in them so ill try out the bird wooden boxes first. Thanks for all the help!
