Boo has a runny nose. Is this just a sign of a cold? I have never seen her with a drippy nose. The other night she did not eat much at all but made up for it last night. She did not have it this morning. When I peeked in at her tonight she poked her head out to say Hi an her nose running. It is clear and she seems ok but I am calling the vet first thing in the morning but what are some ideas of what this could be? URGHHHH help I am freaking out...Is there something I can do for until she gets to the vet tomorrow?

I know mine appear to have runny noses if they have just been drinking, but it goes away after a few minutes. Watch her, if it continues for awhile I'd see a vet, if its only after drinking or eating something watery like melon, it's pretty normal.

I am assuming I woke her up when I got home and checked on her. So who knows she could of just snuggled back in bed after getting a drink but she had the sleepy eyed look like she only woke up to say HI.. She has been out eating and drinking I just checked her a few minutes ago and it is still wet...Im going to take her out for play time and see how she is and if it is still runny being away from food and water for a bit.

Blue, Dark or Red/Magenta Nose

Blue or dark nose indicates lack of oxygen-Possibly due to pneumonia or respiratory distress. Dark red or Magenta can indicate an infection in the head or sinus. It's red/dark because of the body rushing blood to the area in an attempt to combat the problem. If nothing is apparent, an xray is recommended. Keep in mind that nasal flushes rarely work as well. Note that some gliders have normally darker noses. If it isn't normally dark, tho, a vet visit is in order.

Boo went to her new vet. Of course by the time we got there her nose was not as bright pink it was wet but not drippy..She did a complete exam and said that her coat looks wonderful her eyes look wonderful and to keep watching for her nose if it goes from clear to a diff. color bring her back immediately. She gave me a list of diets and foods recommended and woo hoo her diet is on there. Boo crabbed a little at first but came out of her pouch and checked them out just long enough to go potty on her went back in the pouch and kept her head out watching them. Boo even got her first manicure and Pedicure done she just watched them very carefully but did not struggle with them to much just chattered with them.

She did say with her eating habits starting to change and few behavioral changes that she could be starting to show signs of loneliness. So today I kicking the BFF search up a notch and I am going to go from hint dropping to begging hubby to drive me to Vegas to go to Lucky Glider Rescue if I still can't find a friend.

I feel so much better now. Basically she said she looks great sounds great just keep an eye on her nose for now.
