Still hoping to hear an update about this poor girl...

I'm so sorry to hear about your baby - same care needs/different reasons...not sure where onieta is but are a couple glider vets in Rochester? Let me know if this is close for you. Something-to-believe-in is SUCH a wonderful asset - please call her, and don't be afraid to bother her like I was Please update us asap...prayers to both of you

awwww poor girl!!! I'm glad you are caring for her so well and making sure she gets liquids. She's in my prayers and my heart goes out to you... it pains me to see animals suffering at all.

awww poor baby!!! I kno people keep saying just let the breeder deal with it...but even tho its a new glider, even after having my glider for a few days i was already fully in love. and would have done anything for them...so i really have to disagree with just "returning" the poor girl...but maybe you could make the breeder pay for the bill or something....that seems like it would be reasonable...also i was reading just last week about glider who had peridotist diesiese. excuse the spelling, lol, i'm in a hurry..haha, and anyway they had to have teether removed..some only needed a few teether, but some had all their teeth removed. And all but like 2 of them livewd if i remember correctly. It does make life harder for the both of u, but from what i read, it doesnt mean that they will die. So keep ur head up!!! And good luck sweetie I'll be praying for the both of you. And think about this...some gliders are in just as much pain, only it doesnt show, and they dont want us to kno they injured...so it goes unnoticed. At least this injury was visible and you can work on fixing it. good luck!

I've been upset about this since I started reading this thread. It kills me to think of anything suffering!

Okay, I found a vet in Syracuse. I took her took her there today,(emergency visit ouch) But he seems great, he said it looks as if she got an infection from a tooth, I didnt catch it in time so he is afraid it might have passed through to her respitory system. He put her on some meds and said her infection is gone in her teeth. He says to leave the teeth alone as she can eat I just have to make her stuff "soft" for her. She seems to be doing good right now. Trying to her apple (finally) and drinking on her own :) I will keep you all up to date on her. Thank you so much for all your help.
