I am having to take my 15yr old Zac to the vet today. The time has come he was screaming this morning and I belive he had a slight heart attack. This is the second one so I know it's time. My 14yr old girl Flower is hanging on by a thread she wines and takes baby steps to get anywhere and she has bloated a bit this week and I noticed a hernia yesterday on her belly. How can I do two at once when I just said goodbye to my Toby a week ago. I don't know if I can do this. I am praying hubby gets home early I can't handle this by myself it's too much. My boys are going to be so upset when they get home today. It's not what I planned for today it really is not. I do think it is time though how can I let go again without feeling so guilty.

Oh Tracy I am just so sorry. That is terrible. It is so hard to not feel guilty, but as you said you know it is time. They are in pain and miserable. That isn't any kind of life either. Sigh... I still beat myself up about the last 3 I had to put down. Did I wait too long did I do it too early? It is never easy. But you gave them a wonderful life and they know it and they love you.

Thank you guys so much! We took our baby girl and boy and we laid them both to rest today. They both crossed the rainbow bridge together. Thank you so much for all the hugs and prayers.

How sweet they were able to be together, at least. How are your boys doing?

They are doing better then I thought they would. It's been tender moments with all of us but they understand Heaven and all so well. They are happy that they are no longer suffering here. We still have our 12yr old boy left he is still holding strong so we pray he hangs with us for a while.

Oh, Tracy! I am so sorry to read this. It's the hardest part for me of having animal companions in my life, when they become geriatric critters, and start to become frail. I'm keeping your family in my thoughts this evening. What a difficult time this has been for you all! Hugs to all of you.

Thank you! We are all having a better day today. Our other boy got a bath and a brushing and he is staying with me at my sewing station. I worry about him more then myself he has never lived alone without other dogs. He was my pup out of my Tasha's litter years ago. His mom Tasha passed away about 5yrs ago he did well with that but Toby was his best friend so I pray this is easy on him. He is snoring here by my feet as I type LOL. Thank you so much for thinking of me
