The Gliderpedia pg on sugar glider books only has one book listed...and I know there are others.
I'd like to updated it, but I haven't read all of them yet. So, I'm asking for your help:
1) please list any books you'd reconmend 2) please list any books you'd want to warn people against 3) please list the ok books with the appropriate warnings & good points (example: out dated diet info, but good behavior section)
I have a couple that I already want to buy & read, but the sooner we get it filled out the better. Nice thing about Gliderpedia is that it can always be edited/updated. :D
Thanks in advanced for any & all help.

i would warn against all books. maybe not every bit of info in a book is out dated but most likely something in the book is out dated or just wrong. the best place for info is right here no book can give you all this info and opinion and people giving their experience in one place then right here. and its being updated everyday with new info, evidence, questions and answers and other stuff. its not one person writing a book and deciding this is how it should be since there are many ways to correctly raise gliders. just read the book for fun if you want but dont rely on it for any info until you double check with other info. maybe other books to suggest would be about wild gliders and learn more about their natural way of life and try to give them a world that is a little bit closer to it somehow since we cant return them to the wild. ed recommended this book "Leadbetter's Possum: Bred To Be Wild" in this thread http://www.sugarglider.com/glidergossip/topic.asp?TOPIC_I... it sounds like its full of interesting info.

yeah i know its by peggy but it doesnt mean anything. i read the review on that book last night (unless there is somewhere i could read it for free on line thats as good as i can do since i dont have any extra money to buy it) why doesnt she list info on all the rescues like ed and val and also val's sweetspot medical site(doesnt replace the vet but its a good place to learn stuff) and maybe other ways to find a glider who needs a home,SUGAR group, millbreeders project, and other groups. she could also listed sites like glidergossip and glidercentral for more info. suz's site, sugargliderhelp.com may be to new to be in the book but i hope she adds it along with other sites. she links to sites that have died but if she would have added some rescuers and forums somebody would be able to help them even if they have stopped rescuing. or maybe she should have a back up page in case those links die and people could get that info from there or she could list other links on a site that would replace the info thats not there any more. i dont care if she list diets that for some reason include pellets but she should list all kinds of diets to give the person choices (yeah i know she did but i mean more then just the bml) cant think of any more right now since i read it last night.
