For the last week my mom has been hearing strange noises in her dental lab. They finally took out some tiles from the ceiling and look what they found!

A Kinkajou!!





I had never even heard of it before! Here is a better picture of one that I got off the internet since you really can't see hers very well.





I asked her how on earth it got in there and she said there is an exotic pet store two doors down and that it got into the crawl space! It's lucky to still be alive after being alone in a strip mall for a week!

Oh wow! I would think that has to be someones pet.... either lost or they just let it loose because they couldn't care for it anymore. Hope that's not the case and she just got away from her owner and they can be happily reunited.

what happened to the Kinkajou?? did you have to return it to the pet store? did you send it somewhere else to be cared for properly? is the pet store going to be in any trouble for this happening?

That is pretty cool though! I think I would have to keep him. The pet store is clearly not capable of taking care if him/her.

I would be sneaking him home with me and no one would ever see him at the mall again...lol

My mom said that the owner had been out of town and that each of the worker's just thought she had sold it before leaving. I asked her what the price was and she said $2,500.00 -

Needless to say that when they finally got in contact with the owner, she was very grateful to have this little guy back. She even sent flowers and pizza to say thank you.

Too bad my mom didn't know what she had -she could have made some good money!
