Snowball & you will be in my prayers. There are really no words to say to ease your pain, you know you're doing the right thing for Snowball & you know she knows she is loved dearly. Take as much comfort as you can in what you know.

OMG...my cat is 17 and we got her in 1995 right after my daughter was born. They are two months apart and they are INSEPARABLE. Right now, she is pretty healthy, but I know as they age, they deteriorate quickly. Quality of life is something to strongly consider, which I'm sure you have. I know we'll be in your shoes before too long and I'm so, so sorry.

I am so sorry. I agree that you are doing the right thing. I also had to do that about a year ago. My cat was 11 years old. It is hard to do but is the best thing to do.

This Thursday you will do one of the most unselfish things you can do for your pet. You will put your pets well being before your own happiness. I truly believe it is the final act of love you can show. My thoughts are with you.

I feel your pain. My first cat died a few years ago, he was 12 and died in his sleep. What hurts the most was that i was away at college so i didn't even get to say goodbye. His name was Baby Kitty. So sorry :( spend as much time with Snowball as you can, wish i could have spent more time with my Baby before he passed 1997-2010 R.I.P

I know how this is. My dog at 17 years old passed away a few years ago. Her and I both grew up together, i was a year older then her. She was my best friend for so many years. I told myself I would never get another dog again, but 2 years ago the most amazing 'chug' (half chi half pug) walked into my life...literally, I wasn't even looking for him! Things will get back hun. Just have to remember, she won't be in pain anymore.

Wow..17 yrs is remarkable..You have obviously taken wonderful care of her. And now, You making sure she dosn't suffer..That is the kindest (although difficult) thing You can do. My thoughts are with You..I hope things go smoothly.

I'm sorry for what you are going through. I don't think there is anything wrong with getting a memorial tattoo. I believe tattoos should be meaningful to the person that is getting it.

You are doing the right thing for Snowball. When I lost my dog last year, I found a link to poems that help. I think it was called poems to help you heal after losing a pet. Snowball will be waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge.
