I've had my male, Schnapps, for about three weeks now. He's gotten a lot more comfortable with me lately. He comes to me for treats and he let's me pet him while he's eating... I know gliders will "taste test" with fingers and what not, but he will taste and then keep biting until it gets too hurtful for me to handle. I know its not an agressive bite, because its always calm when he does it--he honestly just looks curious.

Will he stop doing this any time soon?

I know grooming can sometimes be uncomfortable... but I can tell when he's grooming me and when he's tasting me.

Don't let him bite you. If you know he's gonna test nibble then continuously get more aggressive, move your fingers before it gets to that point.

Mine do the same thing.... after a few nibbles I'll just move my fingers from in front of their mouths to the back of their necks and give them some pets.

Okay ill stop letting him continue it. Until now I've tried to grin and bear it, but yesterday he bit my finger on its side and his teeth went under the side of my nail... OUCH! But he doesn't seem to be doing it visciously.

If you see he is getting ready to bite, make a Psssstt sound and move your hand to let him know that is NOT acceptable. He will learn the sound means stop or NO. Gliders are smarter than we sometimes realize.
