So, I went to Virginia to see hubby off to Afghanistan. I was gone for four days. I'd call and my daughter would put me on speaker phone and she said Kai would look at the phone confused like...g-ma, are you in there? They came along to pick me up at the airport last night and I was only in the car a few minutes before I felt a small body on top of my head and another on my shoulder and another on the other shoulder. They were everywhere. I was being attacked! The boys raced down my arm to groom me and lick me. Guess I smelled like their g-pa. It was so nice to see them again. I was afraid they'd forget me or be angry. But nope. They were on my head, on my shoulders, in my shirt and everywhere checking me out.

Be careful with them in the car. A few people have had their gliders go into weird places they couldn't get them out of - but glad they were happy to see you :)

She couldn't keep them in the pouch. They would have chewed their way through it. They stayed on me just ran all over me. I know, I read that post not too long ago. And our gliders don't care about no link that has barking. Just happy to be home with the kiddos.

Yea, it was wonderful. Like three kids climbing all over you. Then I got marked... X's three.

You went to VA?!?!??!?! And I didn't know!??!?! I bet they were super happy to have you back - I've been away for a week at a time twice recently and could tell they definitely missed me, especially Patrick and Dublin :)

Oh crud, you are from VA aren't you? Where? I was in Norfolk on the base mostly. Went to Virginia Beach area too. Just messed around a little.

That is so sweet, glad you had a save trip and made it back safe even if you were marked a few times at least they missed you.

Welcome back, Lisa! That is awesome that they missed you so much! Nah, they wouldn't forget ya!

Isn't it great to feel so loved? I get that from my dog, and even my little dragon I could tell was happy to see me, he would come up front for a greeting & in hopes I'd get him out, I miss him. My gliders are sometimes happy to see me, but not always. We haven't been away in a month, and I'm hoping to take them with us on the next trip, probably early fall.
