Does anyone remember my post about a lady with gliders with bad teeth? She took them to the vet, diagnosis was gingivitis. Glider now on antibiotics, etc but now tooth is loose. I finally went tomeet them tonight and OMG!! the two boys must have weighed 8 oz apiece! Poor babies could not lift their own weight up to climb onto a perch. Their underfur was really yellow(all four)and they were generally all overweight and lethargic. The girls had bad scars from mating wounds, also. She had a huge cage - a whole room for them but my goodness! Along with live meal worms- there were dishes of water, grape jelly, baby food, pellets, yogurt, oatmeal and pellets. Only after I got there did she say a man wants all 4 and I encouraged her to keep them all together and by all means let him get them as soon as possible. I knew I would not be financially able to afford what would be a huge vet bill and doubt sadly they will live very long. I am saving for Ming a cage mate= hopefully a healthy one.
So sorry to hear the plans fell through. Some people really don't know how to care for their babies. With grape jelly and the like, Its not a wonder their teeth are rotten.
There is a male that is for sale has lineage an very beautiful for 275 you can have him as pet only an its 200 includes being fixed I could send u the link if interested
Thanks, Pip and Omis! I'm going to look local. As Ming is 5 a joey wouldn't be possible either so I must get a re-homed or rescue. I know the right BFF for Ming will come along.!
