I got Sophie and Butters about a week ago and they're already doing a great job of bonding with me. I work at a bar, which makes sugar gliders the perfect pet for me since the three of us are usually awake at around the same time (1 am to 6 am). I've been lurking in the forums for about two months; I was afraid at first about making any irreversible mistakes about their diet. Those pictures of malnutritioned gliders gave me nightmares. I've decided to go with the HPW Original diet for my kids, also every few days I give them mealworms. Sophie only eats a couple at a time but Butters always goes nuts. When his dish ran out of mealies, he jumped towards the tub of mealworms but he couldn't open it with his tiny hands. So he grabbed the plastic spoon that I used to scoop the worms and HE STARTED LICKING IT! Well anyway, I finally decide to create and account so I can start contributing to the community.
