Well tomorrow marks 30 days since I got Ulalena. We have an appointment for Wednesday and if everything comes back clear we can start the pouch swapping and try to get her integrated with my other three.

Thanks! My three little monkeys have been barking at her for the last few weeks. It will be nice if I can get them all together as one colony.

And only have to clean one cage,eh? Let us kow when intros are going on. We can walk you through it if need be.

I'm really hoping that they'll be able to help her be a glider. Right now she basically eats, sleeps and goes on the wheel for a bit. She won't forage, she won't play with any of the toys I've put in there. I'm hoping that she'll begin to "come out of her shell" when she is with the others.

I bet she completely changes once she's in with a bunch of rowdy monkeys!!

Hi all,

Just got back from the vet and she says that Ulalena looks really good. We did fecals and now I just have to wait a few days for the results. If all is clear, I'll start the pouch swapping this weekend.

She is such a sweetie. She never crabs or bites. In fact she never makes any noise at all (like barking). She is very calm too, considering her past, and sits so nicely when you hold her.

I really hope she'll be able to join the monkeys soon.

Yeah! Everything came back negative so it is a green-light for Ulalena and the gang to start getting to know one another. I moved her next to the colony last night and in a few days I'll start the swapping. I hope in a week or two I'll be able to integrate her into the colony.

I'm sure Obake will be thrilled, it will be just him with the three girls.

So I've been doing the pouch swapping thing for a few weeks and today when I get home I'm going to try our first combined tent-time. I really hope that Ulalena and the others get along well. I'm going to buy some baby crickets to let loose while we are in there so that they have something to focus on besides each other.
