Hello

I have a female sugar glider I bought maybe 7 months ago

Anyways .. Before a month I went to buy another SugarGlider so she won't feel lonely

I bought a female that was kept in horrible conditions with some males and other females

It didn't look pregnent at all ! Until today when I was giving her a treat I noticed that there's a weird thing on her tummy on the left side it looked like there is a smal ball in her pouch

I'm not an expert but I thinks she might be pregnent ..

My question is

Could she be pregnent ? Although when I bought her she didn't seem pregnent at all , does the pregnancy takes a month to apears ?I just noticed today !

Please I need all the information I can get from u " I'm already learning how to take care of pregnent mommyand joys

Thank you

She very well could be pregnant. Around 4 weeks of development in the pouch, is when you start seeing the lump(s) which is the little joey(s). So yes it does take about a month before you can visually see that she is pregnant.

Do not try to look into the pouch because because if she is, the baby can be dislodged from the nibble and be unable to attach itself again.

Do a search on pregnant gliders and joey rejection.

Also look at www.suzsugargliders.com/breedingsugargliders.htm along with the whole Suz Sugar Glider site in general because their is more information then just the info on breeding. Great into on joeys, development, etc.

And I would recommend getting a joey rejection kit and uping her protein for health and milk production. What diet are you using?

I'm not sure if I understood your post right. Did you just get her a month ago or did you get her a month after your other female?

Also they fetus can be in "stasis" for quite sometime...kind of like in hibernation...so the baby may not show for quite a long time after a female has been with a male.

It is possible that she is pregnant and is just now starting to show, it can take over a month before you notice joeys in the pouch. The best thing for you to do now is research (I would start at Suz's site that has been linked to you) and prepare in case she does have a joey. You will want to be particularly prepared for joey rejection in this instance. The absence of the father can cause a lot of undue stress on the mother and give her a higher likely hood to reject. The other female she is housed with MAY help her raise the joey, and she may not. Hopefully the two are already getting along well and bonding and will form a pseudo family unit. Make sure they are on a good diet, then you will just want to offer them a larger helping of whatever protein source you are feeding to help mom support growth of the joey. Aside from that, just try to keep everything as calm and normal for her as possible.
