I have a pretty steady shift at work, by I'm in retail, and once in a while I get a very early shift.
When it happens I have to be up at 5 in the morning.
I try to get my baby up at around 11pm, and let her play in the tent till about 2am.
In the morning she goes falls asleep between 10 to 12.
When I have the morning shift the next day, I was thinking of waking her up around 9:30pm and let her play till 12ish.
Is 9:30 hours of sleep enough for her? It would be just for a day once in a while, so I think it's ok, but it doesn't hurt to ask right?

I personally think it would be okay. She might not be the most energized thing in the world, but when she's done she'll go back to sleep.

You can always try. I have found that it is pretty hard to keep awake a sleepy glider I tried for a while to get my girls up earlier and they would just find somewhere to cuddle up and sleep instead of playing. But you won't hurt them at all with trying.

My rule of thumb is usually, if they are up at night then most play time will be then...if not then I better get some sleep because play time will be in the morning!

That's plenty of sleep! I find that mine wake up as soon as all the lights and tv go off. Sometimes that's 9pm and sometimes not until midnight.
