We have just bought two suggies. The male's fine, and eats everything. On the other hand, the female one loves to jump. There was once when we wanted to get them out for the bonding, but the little one jumped out, got stress, and climbed up our curtains. It took quite some time to get in back down. How can we stop this coincidence from happening again? And, will that suggie get a trauma?

Mine love the curtains!!!! I don't think you can do much about your little explorer except maybe get her in a tent to play!!! Good luck and congrats on your new babies!!!

Until you are able to handle her you could take the sleeping pouch out the night before you plan on wearing her in the bonding pouch and hang the bonding pouch in the cage. She will the have to use the bonding pouch to have a place to sleep and then you can just zip it up and put it on with her already in there.

it's natural for them to want to jump. and after they are out of the cage for a bit, it's really cool to see it dawn on them that they can glide. I have had several that will jump and glide from something and keep running back over to the same object, climbing up it and jumping again. kind of like kids on a slide.

LOL- I agree Karen. Ming, my first glider is a re-home and was cage confined for a year when I got her so she jumps more than glides. 8 months later I got Maxine a 12 week oop joey and she was fearless from day one. She will glide from the highest thing she can find- yup!! the curtain rod-lol
