We take our babies to get their nails trimmed every month, but it's getting expensive! Now that they're more grown and we're more used to handling them, we want to try trimming them ourselves. We tried with clippers at one point quite a while ago, but are very nervous about trimming them too short and making them bleed. The pet place we take them to be trimmed uses a cauterizing pen, which they swear by as the safest way and seems to work great. We were just wondering if anyone else uses this method, and if so what do you use? We are looking to buy a cautery pen and give this a try. Opinions? Thanks!

I have never heard of this, sounds kinda scary. Maybe someone who has experience with this process will come along. In the mean time here is some nail information: http://www.sugarglider.com/gliderpedia/index.asp?NailTrimming
