I finally ran out of repcal and went to the petstore to get more. The petstore doesn't have the standard repcal that's white with the pink label. Instead, it had something called repticalcium, which you can see HERE! . It says it's made from something other than oyster shells which the original stuff is made out of. I'm wondering if this is fine to use when making BML or if I need the white and pink repcal. Also, I can't find herptivite. The petstore had something called Reptivite(seen here ). Is this basically the same as herptivite?

Try another pet store or ask the store to order them for you.

You cannot substitute other supplements for the ones called for in the BML recipe.

Candy is right. You would definitely not want to use those.

I was looking up those ingredients against my Rep-Cal Calcium w/Vit D3(phos.free) and the Rep-Cal Herpativite jars and they are different enough in the measure of key ingredients I would NOT substitute because that is what the diets calculations and ratios are based off of.

I ordered mine on line from Petsmart.com

Alright, thanks! I wasn't sure because I already threw away my repcal so I couldn't compare. I'll just start ordering it online.
